Why we own a Regency
There are several themes that we use to describe our Regency RV:
Elegance, Comfort, Luxury, Quality and Reliability
After more than 16 years of owning Class A motorhomes, it was time for us to downsize into a smaller, easier to handle unit. Although our goal was to find a smaller coach, we were not willing to sacrifice the luxury of our 45-foot Prevost bus to do so. Our research led us to Mercedes Sprinter van conversions and the various makes and models available in today’s market. Yet none had that touch of elegance, the comfort, the high quality of workmanship that we were looking for until we found Regency RV. We finally met our match. Our Regency has the elegance, the comfort, and the quality of workmanship that we had been searching for in a smaller, easy to maneuver luxury motorcoach.
Without thinking twice, we bought our Regency on the spot in Tennessee. One week after we purchased our Regency, we hit the road for a month-long cross-country 7,000 mile adventure. We zig-zagged across the United States, from Tennessee to California, staying in state and national parks and small campgrounds. We did not pamper this coach in any way. We used it the way it was intended. We cruised to places we wouldn’t go readily in our bus, traveling on back roads, country roads, desert roads, mountain roads.
We visited Mississippi River State Park, Arkansas; Lake Arrowhead State Park, Texas; Caprock Canyons State Park, Texas; Sedona, Arizona; and Valley of Fire State Park, Nevada. We toured the wine country in Sonoma, California. We complimented our camping experiences with stays at hotels and inns when we needed to refresh, reorganize, and do laundry. Along the way we easily zipped into grocery store parking lots to replenish our supplies without the old problems of where to park a big rig.
While we were in Fort Worth, Texas, we visited the fine folks at Regency RV. We met the team that built our exceptional coach. Because we were on our shake-down cruise in our new coach, we shook a few things lose. Our new friends at Regency made a few adjustments for us, did a little custom work we requested, and got us back on the road in a few short days. It was a pleasure meeting the crew that designed and implemented such a grand little coach. They have readied us for trip back to Tennessee. From there we will travel down to Naples, Florida in a few weeks.
If you want to know where to find us, we’ll be out there on the open road in our Regency RV.
